In an effort to save Europe and the world from freezing, US blows up NordStream Pipelines

Biden (or whoever is actually in charge and gave the order) did Europe a favor. Germany refused to allow NordStream 2 to be turned on and AfD was gaining political ground by pointing out the suicidal policy.

But now the gas, and the political pressure, has been released! And while not as efficient as burning it in your apartment heater, the next best thing is apparently to increase GLOBAL warming. If their "science" is true, the entire world that's being systematically starved of energy even to warm ourselves, will benefit. As Secretary of State Blinken is fond of saying, "it's an opportunity!"

And now the EU can buy all their LNG from the US instead of Russia — another opportunity! Another Win-Win move. Are you tired of winning yet?

Lest you think I'm exaggerating the warming benefits of methane, news media from mainstream Reuters and AP to conservative media are sounding the alarm over this "horrific man-made climate disaster".

Reuters says it's "the biggest methane release ever recorded." Evidently worse than all the Netherlands dairy cows combined.

Reuters quotes a crack team of environmental bureaucratic parasites, (sorry "watchdogs") who say "a huge plume of highly concentrated methane, a greenhouse gas far more potent but shorter-lived than carbon dioxide, was detected in an analysis this week of satellite imagery." (emphasis mine)

This from the methane watchdogs (International Methane Emissions Observatory) within the United Nations Environment Program.

Let the levels of highly specialized, full-time bureaucracy sink in — the UNEP-IMEO. We're doomed. Not from methane gas, but from richly paid bloviating windbags at the UN.

Apparently the methane will be far more effective at producing man-made climate change than launching tens of thousands of StarLink satellites, more effective at global warming than bombs, missiles, plane sorties in the conventional ongoing wars everywhere and even more effective than pending thermonuclear war.

Climate change is a very selective crisis. Private jets and wars don't matter much. It's very dependent on the whims of political windbags.

It will be interesting to test their hypothesis about methane. If there's no global warming from this "record release", then we can point out that the climate mandarins and emperors have no clothes. Then we'll be able to get back to producing energy and heating and stop the suicidal austerity programs designed to impoverish and enslave the people of every country.
